About the SE34.1
The Decware SE34.1 (also referenced as SE34I) is a single-ended triode integrated amplifier using EL34/6CA7 output tubes, delivering approximately 5 to 6 watts per channel. It features zero negative feedback, tube rectification, and proprietary Decware transformers for superior soundstage depth and imaging. The amplifier offers four distinct sonic signatures selectable by the user, allowing tuning from smooth and silky to more forward and aggressive sounds. It supports driver tube voltage and output tube bias adjustments on the fly for additional versatility. The SE34.1 is known for its well-detailed, richly musical output with excellent holographic imaging and air around instruments. It is attractively styled with a simple, well-finished chassis and is built with point-to-point wiring and no circuit boards. The amplifier is designed to work best with 8-ohm speakers but is compatible with a range of impedances and can drive loads below 4 ohms. It has been in production with multiple revisions since around 2000 and is highly regarded for its combination of flexibility, musical honesty, and quality workmanship. The SE34.1 is made in the USA and comes with a lifetime warranty.
