About the MC-7P
The Dared Audio MC-7P is a vacuum tube stereo preamplifier designed for high-fidelity audio systems. It features a moving magnet (MM) phono stage for turntable connectivity, three line-level RCA inputs, and a USB-B digital input for optional DAC functionality. The preamp is known for its quiet operation, with the MM phono stage reportedly as quiet as some standalone solid-state units. The MC-7P is no longer in production, but was well-regarded for its build quality and sonic performance, especially when upgraded with premium capacitors and tubes.
