About the Momentum Phonostage
The Dan D’Agostino Momentum Phonostage is a high-end, fully analog, multi-chassis phono preamplifier designed for both moving-coil (MC) and moving-magnet (MM) cartridges. It provides four selectable stereo phono inputs—two MC and two MM—with both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections for each input. Front-panel controls provide input selection, gain adjustment, cartridge loading, and selection among five equalization curves, including RIAA and four historical LP curves. Its rectification and regulation circuitry is housed in a separate base, while the power transformer is isolated in a third chassis to reduce interference from AC-generated electromagnetic fields.
