About the DQM-7c
The Dahlquist DQM-7c is a classic three-way loudspeaker from Dahlquist, featuring an 8-inch main driver and a single tweeter, both cast in heavy gauge aluminum for durability and sound quality. It is part of Dahlquist's Phased Array speaker lineup, which emphasizes time-aligned drivers and low diffraction to produce an open, airy, and accurate soundstage. The DQM-7c is designed to deliver detailed and precise audio reproduction with a focus on clarity and musical coherence. The speakers are appreciated for their studio-use design direction and have a reputation for good performance when paired with appropriate amplification and stands. Due to its vintage status, the product is likely no longer manufactured and may require maintenance such as re-foaming over time.
