The Classé CDP-202 is a high-performance two-channel CD/DVD player designed for audiophiles seeking maximum resolution and enjoyment from a wide variety of music sources. It features a TEAC DVD-ROM slot-loading drive capable of playing CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD Audio & Video, VCD, SVCD, MP3, WMA, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, and DVD+RW formats. The player employs three Burr Brown PCM1792 DACs for balanced analog outputs and independent DACs for single-ended outputs, ensuring high dynamic range and precise audio reproduction. It includes a touchscreen control and video preview on the front panel, vibration-absorbing feet, a strong rigid chassis, and extensive connectivity including balanced XLR, single-ended RCA, coaxial S/PDIF, AES/EBU, optical Toslink, S-Video, and composite video outputs. The CDP-202 supports 24-bit/192kHz audio sample rates and features advanced jitter reduction via CPLD and sample rate conversion.
