About the IDAP-6
The Cayin iDAP-6 is a desktop network digital transport and streamer designed to partner an external DAC in a high-resolution system, with a satin-silver half-width chassis and 3.95-inch AMOLED display for local control. It supports all common digital file formats including FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, APE, DFF, DSF and SACD-ISO, with playback of PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD up to DSD256 via I2S (DoP128 via USB output, DoP64 on other digital interfaces). As a pure transport, it provides comprehensive digital outputs — USB, I2S (HDMI), AES/EBU, coaxial (RCA/BNC) and optical — to feed virtually any external DAC. For local libraries, the iDAP-6 accepts 2.5-inch HDD/SSD up to 2 TB, SD cards up to 256 GB, and USB drives via three USB ports. Network connectivity includes Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX, supporting Samba, DLNA and AirPlay file sharing plus HiByLink and Bluetooth remote profiles for app-based operation.
