About the Dragon 5.1 Plus
The Camelot Technology Dragon 5.1 Plus is a digital audio jitter-reduction interface designed to sit between sources such as DVD transports, CD players, and satellite receivers and a DAC. It accepts coaxial RCA, AES/EBU, TosLink, and two proprietary I2S digital inputs, and provides coaxial, AES/EBU, and two I2S digital outputs. Its signal-conditioning and reclocking circuitry is intended to address cable-impedance mismatches, ground-loop issues, and timing errors (jitter) in digital audio signals. The unit has a black anodized front panel and measures approximately 13 × 2 × 8 inches, with a 17-inch-wide faceplate.
