About the Minx X201
The Cambridge Audio Minx X201 is a compact, stylish powered subwoofer designed for smaller to medium-sized rooms. It features a 200 watt RMS digital amplifier with sophisticated digital signal processing (DSP) that manages equalization and dynamic range for tight, distortion-free bass. The subwoofer uses a front-firing 6.5-inch aerospace-grade aluminum woofer paired with two 6.5-inch auxiliary bass radiators (ABR) to produce rich, full-bodied bass without requiring a large cabinet or ported design. It offers rear-panel controls for volume, crossover frequency (50-200 Hz variable), and phase adjustment (0° to 180°) to allow precise integration with other speakers. The Minx X201 automatically powers on when it detects an audio signal and powers off when idle. It is finished in high gloss black or white with a compact footprint (210 x 219 x 222 mm) and weighs about 11 lbs (5 kg). Connectivity is via stereo RCA inputs, with no wireless options. The subwoofer is ideal for home offices or smaller living spaces where space is limited but deep bass is desired.
