About the BP25
The Bryston BP25 is a solid-state stereo preamplifier with a fully balanced line stage, multiple RCA and XLR inputs, balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, and a separate tape output. It was offered in a standard line-level configuration and as the BP25-MC, which adds an internal moving-coil phono stage. The unit uses an external power supply and includes remote-controlled motorized volume, mute, and other control functions. Its wide-bandwidth, low-noise, low-distortion circuit is housed in a steel chassis designed to provide shielding from electromagnetic interference.
