About the DM4
The DM4 is a vintage three-way loudspeaker introduced in 1972. Its drivers comprise a B&W DW200/4 Bextrene-cone bass/midrange unit, a Celestion HF1300 Mk II high-frequency unit, and a 19 mm Coles plastic-dome supertweeter. The compact cabinet uses a critically damped acoustic loading arrangement with a small controlling vent. The manufacturer’s archived DM4 materials are available through its product archive.
