About the Tempesta 17
The Blumenhofer Acoustics Tempesta 17 is a passive, floorstanding 2-way horn loudspeaker. It combines a 170 mm (6.5 in) P2C® Peek-carbon sandwich woofer with a 1 in compression driver/horn using a 35 mm (1.4 in) Mylar diaphragm. Its MDF enclosure uses a downward-firing divergent bass-reflex arrangement and a separate crossover chamber, targeting lively, dynamic reproduction and compatibility with low-power/tube amplifiers. The supplied specification is for the floorstanding Tempesta 17, not the separate Tempesta 17 Bookshelf/BKS model.
