About the BC32
The Blue Circle Audio BC32 is a 5-channel power amplifier delivering 130 watts per channel at 8 ohms. It is praised for its smooth and detailed midrange and treble, tight and articulate bass with good pitch definition, and an open, balanced soundstage. The amplifier is noted for bringing out emotional involvement, especially in vocal presentation, and enhancing subtle details in music and movie soundtracks without compression or lack of power. It is based on the BC22 design and is suitable for bi-amping. The unit reviewed was a 6-channel version modified with balanced inputs and a remote power trigger. The BC32 is highly regarded for its build quality and musical performance, often replacing more expensive gear in users' systems. The power switch is located on the back, and the amplifier is slightly taller than most amps. It is compatible with various speaker systems and excels in combined audio/video setups.
