About the EVO 4
The Bel Canto eVo4 is a 4-channel power amplifier using Bel Canto's Tripath-based Class-T digital power processing technology, delivering 120 W per channel into 8 ohms or 200 W per channel into 4 ohms with all four channels driven, and 360 W per channel into 8 ohms or 500 W per channel into 4 ohms when configured as a 2-channel bridged amplifier. It offers a wide 1 Hz-80 kHz (-3 dB) bandwidth, THD+N below 1% at rated power, a damping factor greater than 100, and 23 dB gain, providing clean, controlled drive for demanding loudspeakers. The eVo4 accepts both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs and uses multi-way binding posts for speaker connections, allowing flexible integration into multichannel or high-power stereo systems. Thanks to its highly efficient switching output stage, it runs relatively cool and draws significantly less power than conventional class-A/B amplifiers of similar output, while maintaining high current capability and robust protection.
