About the Rhythm 1.3
The Backert Labs Rhythm 1.3 is a line stage tubed preamplifier known for its ability to bring music to life with clarity and rhythm. It features a dual-mono power supply with Backert Labs' patented GreenForce technology, which ensures low voltage operation for extended tube life and a black background. The preamp includes five inputs (two balanced XLR and three unbalanced RCA) and four outputs (two balanced XLR, two unbalanced RCA, plus a Record Out and Home Theater Bypass). It uses two 12au7 tubes in its gain stage and offers remote volume control, balance control, mute switch, and stereo/mono switch. The Rhythm 1.3 is designed and assembled in Pennsylvania, with a solid aluminum chassis and a brass bottom panel. It has an output impedance of less than 80 ohms, making it compatible with a wide range of power amplifiers.
