About the Bass Module 2
The Børresen Acoustics Bass Module 2 is an active subwoofer/bass module designed for deep, fast, and controlled low-frequency reinforcement. It uses a folded or slot-loaded dipole/open-baffle style enclosure and four custom 8-inch Børresen drivers, with internal Class D amplification and crossover controls. It is intended to integrate with a wide range of loudspeakers, not only Børresen systems. Publicly available material on the BM2 is limited, so some technical details are not fully published; the price most often associated with the launch-era Bass Module is about $21,000 per unit.
