About the Classic II
The Audiomods Classic II is a hand-built, Rega-compatible tonearm developed by Jeff Spall. It uses a precision-machined bearing and yoke assembly, a constrained-layer counterweight made from brass and lead, and a single continuous run of Cardas 33-gauge tonearm wire terminated with Mitchell silver-plated cartridge clips and Eichmann RCA connectors. The arm has a 222 mm pivot-to-spindle mounting distance, approximately 239–239.5 mm effective length, 17.25 mm overhang, and a 23° cartridge offset angle. A machined aluminum arm rest and stainless-steel VTA lock are standard features. The Classic II has been discontinued.
