About the N22
The Audioengine N22 is a compact integrated stereo desktop amplifier with a built-in headphone amplifier and variable RCA preamp output. The original N22, announced in 2010, uses dual Class A/B amplification and provides analog RCA and 3.5 mm inputs, five-way binding-post speaker outputs, and a USB port for charging or power. It is distinct from the newer N22 (Gen 2), which adds Bluetooth and USB-C and uses a different amplifier design.
