About the ATH-ADX5000
The ATH-ADX5000 is an open-back dynamic reference headphone introduced in 2017. Its 58 mm integrated drivers use a Permendur magnetic circuit and a tungsten-coated diaphragm, with Core Mount technology positioning the driver to support airflow and reduce unwanted vibration. The lightweight magnesium frame and honeycomb-punched housings are paired with Alcantara earpads and headband. It includes a detachable 3.0 m cable with A2DC headphone connectors and a 6.3 mm gold-plated stereo plug, plus a hard carrying case.
