About the Voltikus

The Antelope Audio Voltikus is a discrete linear power supply featuring a shielded toroidal transformer, Linear Technology LT1021 voltage reference, and multi-stage regulation. It is designed to replace the standard switching power supply of Zodiac series DACs, such as the Zodiac+ and Zodiac Gold, to deliver a more stable power source, lower noise floor, and improved dynamic soundstage. The Voltikus connects to compatible DACs via a mini XLR cable and includes a power on/off rocker switch and a ground/lift switch to eliminate hum caused by ground loops. It accepts a wide input voltage range (90-264 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz) and uses a 0.5A 250V fuse. The unit weighs approximately 2.5 kg and significantly enhances the audio performance of the DACs it powers by reducing jitter and improving overall sound quality.
