About the L1290/2
The ADS L1290/2 is a passive, floorstanding three-way loudspeaker system with four drivers: two 8.3-inch (approximately 210 mm) cone woofers, a 2-inch (50 mm) soft-dome midrange, and a 0.75-inch (19 mm) soft-dome tweeter. The woofers occupy separate acoustic chambers in a sealed cabinet. It has crossover points at 500 Hz and 5 kHz, an 8-ohm nominal impedance, and a perforated-steel grille. The L1290/2 is the Series 2 version of the L1290, not the later L12/90 model.
