About the AE300

The AE300 is a passive, two-way bass-reflex stand-mount loudspeaker from Acoustic Energy’s original 300 Series, distinct from the later AE300² model. It uses a 130 mm ceramic-aluminium sandwich mid/bass driver and a 28 mm aluminium dome tweeter with Wide Dispersion Technology. Its 18 mm high-density MDF cabinet incorporates proprietary bracing and a rear slot-shaped port. It was offered in piano-gloss black, piano-gloss white, and real walnut veneer.
