About Thor Audio
Thor Audio is a high-end audio brand known for its vacuum tube-based amplifiers and preamplifiers, including the acclaimed TA-1000 line stage and TA-3000 phono stage. Established in 1996, Thor Audio earned a reputation for its distinctive product designs and commitment to sonic performance. The brand is celebrated for hand-assembled components with a philosophy of zero compromise on build and sonic quality, often distributing products directly to consumers rather than through traditional dealer networks. Notable products include the Mjollnir preamplifier, Sjofn phono preamp, and Valkyrie mono amplifiers, all handmade using premium parts to deliver audiophile-grade sound.
