About Sonic Frontiers
Sonic Frontiers Inc. was a Canadian high-end audio manufacturer founded by Chris Johnson, based in Oakville, Ontario, and active from the late 1980s through the early 2000s. The company earned a strong international reputation for its vacuum-tube and hybrid electronics, including tube preamplifiers (SFL and Line series), stereo and monoblock tube power amplifiers (SFS and Power series), CD transports, and digital-to-analog converters. Sonic Frontiers was acquired by The Paradigm Group around 2000, with its high-end two-channel line continuing under both the Sonic Frontiers and Anthem brands before the Sonic Frontiers name was retired.
