About Kinergetics
Kinergetics was a California-based HiFi audio brand active primarily in the 1980s and 1990s, known for producing high-quality power amplifiers (such as the KBA-75 and KBA-280), CD players (notably the KCD-20, KCD-30, and KCD-40), and subwoofers. The company became respected among audio enthusiasts for offering well-built, musical-sounding products at relatively modest price points, utilizing unique circuit features like the patented 'KDP' design. Kinergetics Research earned a solid reputation for both innovation and value, but the company appears to have gone out of business in the early 2000s.
