About the TNT MkIV
The VPI TNT Series IV (MkIV) is a high-end belt-drive turntable from VPI Industries' TNT series, representing a significant evolution with a laminated high-mass base for superior damping, Sorbothane pucks replacing earlier pneumatic bladders for reliable isolation, 600 RPM AC motor paired with SDS (Synchronous Drive System) speed box, and compatibility with premium tonearms like Graham Phantom, SME, or JMW Memorial. It features a heavy acrylic platter, adjustable isolation feet, and is designed for exceptional performance, low noise, and precise speed stability. No longer in production, it remains highly regarded on the used market for its build quality and sound.
