About the SW-51+
The Shortest Way SW-51+ is a Class A, single-ended triode (SET) tube headphone amplifier with output-transformer coupling and no capacitors in the signal path or additional feedback. It uses a matched pair of 6Ж51P (6Z51P/6J51P) tubes and is also compatible with EF184 tubes. The amplifier provides RCA inputs, separate 27-ohm low-impedance and 54-ohm high-impedance 6.3 mm headphone outputs, approximately 220 mW at 32 ohms with less than 0.7% THD, 12 dB gain, a 10 Hz–30 kHz frequency range within ±1 dB, and an 87 dB dynamic range for loads from 24 to 600 ohms. Its dimensions are approximately 195 × 190 × 130 mm and its weight is about 4.2 kg.
