The Gemme Audio Tanto is a floorstanding loudspeaker designed with a unique VFlex technology, which is a focused pressure field loading method that enhances low-frequency performance using a special horn/transmission line design behind the mid/bass driver. The speaker uses a single 6.5-inch driver and a ported cabinet to achieve deep bass response with minimal coloration. The cabinet is very sturdy and heavily braced to handle the internal sound pressure. The Tanto measures approximately 36 inches tall, 10 inches wide, and 16 inches deep, weighing about 80 pounds each. It features a two-way design that excels in midrange clarity and coherence, providing an open and expansive soundstage with excellent woofer-tweeter integration. The speakers are known for their neutrality and relaxing sound without rolled-off highs, making them suitable for revealing vinyl playback and tube amplifiers. The cabinet design and VFlex loading contribute to a deep, clean bass without boom or bloat, even in large rooms.
