About the X3
The Børresen Acoustics X3 is a high-end floorstanding loudspeaker from Børresen’s X-series, positioned as the brand’s entry-level tower model. It uses a 3-way, 4-driver design with a planar ribbon tweeter, a dedicated 4.5-inch carbon-fiber midrange driver, and two 4.5-inch carbon-fiber bass drivers. Sources describe it as part of Børresen’s push to bring technologies from the M, 0, and Z series into a more accessible model, including spread-tow carbon membranes, copper-cap motor technology, and a heavily braced composite cabinet with carbon-fiber reinforcement.
