The ASR Audio Systeme Basis Exclusive is a high-end, solid-state phono preamplifier for moving-magnet (MM) and moving-coil (MC) cartridges. It combines two independently configurable stereo phono sections, allowing two turntables or tonearms to remain connected and be switched between. Each section has balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs; the shared output provides XLR and RCA connections. Gain, cartridge loading and capacitance are adjustable, and a switchable low-frequency filter is provided. Its separate battery-based power supply and substantial internal filtering are intended to provide low-noise operation. ASR’s official manuals page lists Basis Exclusive manuals for versions from 2006–2009 and from 2010 onward, so the model has a documented production history;
